Residential painting

Exterior and interior painting, staining, and refinishing for homes across North Idaho and Eastern Washington. Every job starts with an in-person walkthrough and a written estimate.

What we do

Services for homeowners

Exterior repaints

Siding, trim, soffits, fascia, and doors. Washed, scraped, caulked, and primed before the finish coats.

Interior painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, and high vaulted rooms, with floors and furniture protected.

Deck stained a warm cedar tone

Decks, porches & steps

Cleaning, sanding, stain, and porch coatings that protect wood through Inland Northwest winters.

Staircase with white risers and dark stained treads

Staircases, doors & trim

Stain and enamel work on stairs, handrails, entry doors, and millwork.

Custom homes

We paint new custom homes for private clients, working alongside your builder from primer to final touch-up. Involving us early in planning helps us align our schedule with your build.

Older homes & lead paint

Many homes in our area were built before 1978, when lead-based paint was still in use. On these homes we test the painted surfaces for lead before any work starts. If lead is present, we tell you before we begin, and the prep is done with lead-safe work practices: containment, dust control, and thorough cleanup to keep your family and our crew safe.

Are estimates free?

Yes. We review the project in person and provide a written estimate detailing scope, products, and pricing.

When should I schedule exterior work?

Exterior painting in our region depends on temperature and dry weather, so most exterior projects are scheduled for spring through fall. Contacting us early helps secure your preferred dates. Interior work is scheduled year-round.

How do you handle lead paint in older homes?

For homes built before 1978, we test the surfaces in the scope of work for lead before the project begins. If lead is present, the work is performed with lead-safe containment, dust control, and cleanup.

What quality standards do you follow?

Our work follows Painting Contractors Association (PCA) industry standards. These standards define proper surface preparation and how finished work is inspected, giving the client and our team a shared, objective measure of quality.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Top Flight Painting is licensed, bonded, and insured in Idaho and Washington (ID RCE-60750, WA TOPFLFP778JP).
